Fishing lures are a group of artificial lures designed to imitate the appearance, shape and movement of all aquatic organisms, most often fish - designed for modern lure fishing. The lures are made of hard plastics, special foams and wood, e.g. linden or balsa. In particular lures made of wood are typical high-quality hand-made lures.
The characteristic lip is designed to evoke the desired action of the lure and enable presentation at the right depth.
The diving depth of the fishing lure depends on the length of the rudder and its inclination. The longer the lip is and located in the axis of the body of the lure, the deeper it will dive. The same goes the other way, the shallow diving models have a short lip and it is at an angle more perpendicular to the axis of the body of the lure.
Fishing lures can also be divided due to the buoyancy of the entire bait. We have floating, sinking and neutral lures here. In short, a floating lures will float on the surface, only its retrieval will cause it to dive. The drowning one will be, as the name suggests, sinking, and the neutral one will hang in the depths when he stops downloading.
