Its magnesium lightweight body with a Shimano proprietary corrosian-resistant finish protects the reel in highly corrosive environments. The waterproof micro-pitch drag (48clicks/points per rotation) allows easy fine tuning to the desired drag tension. The innovative Rigid Support Drag eliminates spool wobble, even at light drag settings. Need we say more!
