Rublex Veltic spinners have been in continuous production since 1953, reflecting their status as a true classic among French spinners. Their instantly recognizable narrow, egg-shaped blade is mounted on a clevis through a clearly separated ringlet, and the convex side features deeply embossed wavy patterns that enhance both flash and vibration underwater.
This lure is engineered for performance: the elongated blade rotates very close to the shaft, ensuring a smooth and balanced spinning action even at very slow retrieves—making it ideal for tricky conditions or wary fish. Each size also features an easily replaceable treble hook, often using a quick-change system, giving the angler flexibility to upgrade hooks or add custom adornments like tassels or flies.

The bodies are precision made in Europe under strict quality standards, including jewellery-grade silver plating on some variants, guaranteeing durability and consistent quality. The proportionally heavy but compact body allows for long, accurate casts while retaining stability in current or at depth.
With its strong, distinctive action that can be felt directly through the rod, the Veltic enables anglers to predict and control the lure’s behaviour quickly. Smaller sizes (1–2) are perfect for perch, ide and chub; mid sizes (3) for trout and barbel; and the larger sizes (4–5) can handle pike or large lake trout when fished slowly and deeply.
In rivers the Veltic excels when fished downstream or across the current: it stays deep, rotates steadily and rarely pops to the surface. In still-waters it starts spinning with the first crank and responds well to changes in speed.
