The newest member of the legendary MADCAT Close Combat sequence. This upgrade of the Black Series Close Combat 180 offers an ergo dynamic shaped SeaGuide® XSS reel seat, for more sensitivity. The whole rod is lighter in weight and now the black EVA handle part is covered with shrink tube. That gives it an extra smooth feel, makes it non-slip and easy to clean. This Close Combat is ideal for vertical jigging from out of a boat or even belly boat: super sensitive, perfectly balanced and a joy to look at. Powerful enough to set the hook with sufficient force and play monster catfish hard. And when you do… the oversized, EVA Comfort butt cap helps ease the wonderful pain of catfishing!
