Lucky John Chubby 4F is a small floating crankbait measuring 4 cm (1.6 in), designed for trout, perch and asp. Its compact, rounded profile and clearly noticeable action make it suitable for fishing shallow river sections, nearshore areas of lakes and water above submerged vegetation.
The lure weighs 3.5 g and runs down to approximately 1 m (3.3 ft). This allows it to be guided above shallow bottoms, rocks and submerged obstacles without using a deep-diving model.
Lucky John Chubby 4F can be retrieved steadily at a slow or moderate speed. Changes of pace and short pauses add variety to the presentation, while its floating design causes the lure to rise towards the surface when the retrieve is stopped.
Its compact size is well suited to light spinning tackle and fish feeding on small prey. The lure can be used both for carefully working individual holding spots and for actively covering longer stretches of shoreline.
