SALMO Sparky Shad is a compact shad-style crankbait designed for effective predator fishing in rivers and lakes. Its laterally curved body profile combined with a precisely balanced weight distribution creates a stable, eye-catching action that closely imitates a fleeing or injured baitfish.
The action of the Sparky Shad adapts naturally to retrieve speed. During slow retrieves, the lure produces wide tail swings and pronounced side-to-side movement. When retrieved faster, it generates stronger vibrations and increased flashing from its flanks, triggering aggressive strikes from active fish.
An internal moving weight system supports long and accurate casts, then stabilizes the lure once it enters the water. This makes Sparky Shad a versatile choice for perch, zander, pike, chub and trout, especially when precise presentation and reliable action at different speeds are essential.
