Savage Gear Hop Walker Frog is a floating surface lure shaped like a frog, designed for walking-the-dog retrieves. The model is intended for working across the water surface and around vegetation and other surface cover.
The lure can be animated with short rod movements to create the side-to-side action associated with the walking-the-dog technique. Its construction is suited to fishing around surface vegetation, without implying complete resistance to snagging.
Hop Walker Frog is fitted with a heavy-duty wide-gap frog hook. The upward-pointing hook point is designed to support effective hooksets. A rubber skirt adds movement during the retrieve, while hand-painted details enhance the lure’s appearance.
The lure measures 5.5 cm, weighs 15 g and is available in several colour patterns.
