Double density construction for efficient energy transfer
The performance of the Guideline 4D Body is based on an advanced double density design with a smooth density transition along the head. This construction improves rod loading and energy transfer during the cast, resulting in better loop stability and cleaner turnover, even when casting large flies or fishing with long two-handed rods.

Low-stretch core and durable construction
All Guideline 4D Bodies are built on a low-stretch Direct Contact core with only around 6% stretch, improving strike detection and line control. Depending on the weight class, the bodies feature strong 32 lb or reinforced 42 lb cores, providing confidence when targeting powerful fish. Clear ID printing and colour-coded sleeves make line identification quick and easy.
Compatible with Guideline 4D tips
The 4D Body is sold separately, allowing anglers to combine it with different Guideline 4D tips to match depth, current speed and fishing style. This modular approach makes the system highly versatile and suitable for a wide range of fly fishing conditions throughout the season.
