Offering exceptional value for money, the PENN® Squadron IV Travel Boat series feature modern blank action designs combined with a stunning look. The 24T carbon, 4-piece blanks are suitable for wreck drifting with lures as well as general bottom fishing for cod, ling, pollock and the heavier versions are also perfect for targeting halibut up in Norway. The travel boat rods feature the same handle lengths as the regular boat rods, but the blank has been adjusted to a 4-piece design; no concessions have been made on the handle and reel seat positions! Finished with ergonomically shaped high-density EVA handles and PENN® Dura-Guide one-piece guides with stainless steel construction and accommodate all line types. These guides are extremely tough and resilient, affording the best protection for the more accident-prone angler, these rods are built to last.
