Black Cat Shadow Cat is a range of powerful reels designed for catfish fishing. Their robust construction and high line capacity are suited to heavy tackle and the demanding loads generated when fighting large fish.
The reels feature 7 bearings and a 4.3:1 gear ratio designed to provide reliable cranking power. A graphite body and rotor are combined with an aluminium spool, stainless steel main shaft and CNC-machined aluminium handle.
The powerful front drag uses stainless steel and carbon drag washers. The 6500 and 8000 models provide a maximum drag of 18 kg, while the largest 10000 model delivers up to 22 kg.
The range includes 6500, 8000 and 10000 sizes. Line capacity increases from 255 m of 0.42 mm line on the 6500, through 275 m of 0.50 mm line on the 8000, to 330 m of 0.55 mm line on the 10000.
Black Cat Shadow Cat reels are designed for heavy-duty catfish fishing where high line capacity, strong drag performance and a construction capable of handling heavy loads are essential.
