Daiwa 24 Crosscast 45 SCW QD is a Big Pit carp reel designed for long distance casting and operation under heavy loads. The 45 mm spool stroke combined with the long spool lip supports long casting distances, while the lightweight ZAION V AIR ROTOR offers low start-up inertia and high resistance to twisting. The strong main shaft is made from stainless steel.
Slow Cross Wrap ensures even line lay, while the QD drag allows quick adjustment of drag pressure during the fight. The reel features DIGIGEAR II transmission, Infinite Anti-Reverse, an aluminium long cast spool, HIP line clip and Twist Buster II line roller. The No Paint surface eliminates the risk of paint cracking and chipping during long-term use.
The series includes 5000C and 5000LD versions. Both models have 4 bearings, a 4.9:1 gear ratio, 104 cm line retrieve per handle turn, a maximum drag force of 15 kg and a weight of 600 g. The 5000C holds 300 m of 0.35 mm line, while the 5000LD offers increased capacity of 0.35 mm/530 m.
