Daiwa 24 Emcast BR LT is a series of compact LT reels with a free spool system and AIRDRIVE Design. The rearward shift of the centre of gravity improves balance and sensitivity, while the AIRDRIVE ROTOR and redesigned AIRDRIVE BAIL support smooth operation and help reduce line tangles. The ATD Type-L drag responds smoothly to powerful runs, while the TOUGH DIGIGEAR transmission provides efficient power transfer. The series also features Cross Wrap, an aluminium ABS long cast spool, Twist Buster III line roller, Infinite Anti-Reverse and a precisely adjustable free spool mechanism. The body is made from DS4 material, and each model has 3 ball bearings and an aluminium handle with a T-shaped knob. The series includes sizes 2500, 3000, 4000-C and 5000-C. Depending on the version, weight ranges from 260 to 290 g, line retrieve from 73 to 87 cm per handle turn, and maximum drag force is 10 or 12 kg. All models have a 5.2:1 gear ratio, while the different spool capacities make it possible to select the right version for a specific setup.
