One of Megabass’ largest “waking” baits, the New DoRum is an adaptation of the hand-carved original DoRum, featuring injection-molded plastic construction as opposed to wood. Available in 5 in. and 5 1/2 in. length, the New DoRum has that unique combination of size and action that makes it popular with trophy bass anglers. Sporting a unique spiral design and action that closely imitates large wounded prey for lunker bass, the New Do-Rum is designed specifically to draw big bass to the surface. Since the New DoRum is designed for surface bites, the ideal scenario is with clear water in the early morning, or on cloudy, calm days, with water temps above 55 degrees. We suggest making a long cast around points, grass beds or rocky banks, and employing a slow, steady retrieve.
