Savage Gear StandUp JigHead is a range of specially shaped jig heads designed for rigging soft plastic lures. Their distinctive Stand Up design allows the lure to remain in a raised position when resting on the bottom, resembling a small baitfish feeding near the lakebed or riverbed. The head shape also produces a pronounced rolling swimming action when used with paddle tail lures and provides excellent horizontal balance for vertical fishing.
Each Savage Gear StandUp JigHead features a forged high-carbon steel wire hook with an ultra-sharp Nano Point tip and a small Micro Barb. The hook wire diameter is carefully matched to the hook size to provide a balance of strength and penetration. The precision-moulded lead heads are designed for a variety of small to medium-sized soft plastic lures, including paddle tail shads and other soft baits.
The stainless steel wire lure holder features a No-Twist design to help prevent the soft lure from rotating on the hook shank. It also incorporates a Pro Peg loop for additional lure retention. Savage Gear StandUp JigHead is available with ho...
