Shimano Yasei Pure Pop is a topwater popper lure designed for targeting predatory fish close to the surface, particularly perch and pike. Its action can be varied easily to suit the activity of the fish.
Gentle, regular twitches produce a side-to-side Walk the Dog action, while stronger rod movements create more pronounced splashing and disturbance on the surface.
Yasei Pure Pop is available in two sizes: 60 mm (2.4 in) weighing 6.5 g and 80 mm (3.1 in) weighing 12 g. Both versions feature a long tail dressing that adds extra movement during the retrieve and short pauses.
The range includes several colour patterns. The combination of Walk the Dog action, stronger popping and two available sizes makes it easy to adjust the presentation when fishing for perch and pike at the surface.
