HMG Lures Droop Killer – Sinking Crankbait Lures
Price from 5.18 € View productsLong-casting lures for chub and ide in medium and large rivers
HMG Lures Droop Killer is a series of compact sinking crankbait lures developed primarily for targeting chub and ide in difficult-to-reach river locations. Their main advantage is the combination of a small body and relatively high weight, allowing anglers to achieve long casting distances where conventional lightweight lures may struggle. Droop Killer is particularly well suited to medium-sized and large rivers, making it easier to reach distant feeding areas, broad riffles and submerged rocky structures.
Droop Killer lures feature a strong, wide swimming action with pronounced vibrations that can be clearly felt through the rod, even when the lure is working at a considerable distance. Their distinctive movement helps anglers maintain contact with the lure during long retrieves. The sinking construction and high weight relative to body size make these crankbaits particularly useful when casting distance is essential for reaching fish-holding areas in flowing water.
Another important advantage of the series is its suitability for both traditional spinning and light baitcasting set...

Another important advantage of the series is its suitability for both traditional spinning and light baitcasting setups. Thanks to their compact yet relatively heavy construction, Droop Killer lures offer an interesting option for anglers targeting chub and ide with ultralight and light baitcasting equipment. They are designed primarily for fishing larger rivers, where fish often hold far from the bank. Due to their specialised construction, these lures are less suited to very shallow streams and slow-flowing canals, where lighter models may be more appropriate.
The HMG Lures Droop Killer series includes three sinking models: 2 cm (0.79 in) weighing 3 g, 2.5 cm (0.98 in) weighing 3.5 g, and 3 cm (1.18 in) weighing 5 g. This range allows anglers to select the appropriate size and weight according to casting distance and river conditions. Designed primarily for chub and ide fishing, these lures can also be used when targeting perch. Droop Killer crankbaits are handcrafted and hand-painted in Poland. Due to their artisanal production, individual lures may show slight variations in colour and finish.
HMG Lures
Our company has been dealing with lure production for a very long time. Our first lures were made out of linden and balsa wood over 15 years ago. They were quickly acclaimed by the anglers in our region and gradually became popular all over the country. That's when we decided to make a living out of fishing lure production and our company NINJA FISHING was established. All our lures are created with passion and love for angling. All had been carefully designed and tested long before they were shown to the public. Nothing happens by accident, most of our lures are designed for particular fisheries and conditions. That's why they are incredibly effective and won't let you come out of the water empty-handed. Currently our lures are widely recognizable in Poland. Effective ide, chub, trout and asp fishing is our main piority, however we didn't forget about perch, pike, zander, barbel and catfish hunters. All our lures are handmade, without the use of large machinery.
