SALMO Hornet 5cm is a compact river crankbait that has been part of the brand’s offer since 1995. Its small body, aggressive action and fast dive make it a highly effective lure for flowing waters as well as medium-sized reservoirs.
The pronounced vibration and tight, energetic wobbling action trigger trout, chub, ide and perch even in stronger current. Thanks to its stability, the Hornet 5cm maintains proper balance at higher retrieve speeds, while the strong side-to-side vibration is clearly transmitted through the line and rod, giving the angler full control over the lure.
The construction is based on a single-piece wire-through frame for maximum durability when fighting larger fish. The polycarbonate lip ensures quick descent and stable action in current. Each lure is individually tank-tested and equipped with high-quality VMC Black Nickel treble hooks for secure hooksets and long-lasting performance.
