Guideline Fario CDC DT is a floating Double Taper fly line designed primarily for dry-fly fishing. Its delicate presentation makes it well suited to small, clear waters and cautious, easily spooked fish. The DT profile provides excellent line control and makes it easier to mend and reposition the line on the water.
The line performs very well at short range while remaining easy to control during longer roll casts. Its low diameter reduces air resistance, helps the line cut through the wind and supports accurate presentation with long leaders. The slick coating keeps the diameter and wind resistance low while maintaining enough buoyancy to keep the tip sections floating.
The symmetrical DT profile allows the line to be reversed after one end becomes worn, so the opposite end can then be used. Fario CDC DT is built on a braided multifilament core and features small factory-welded loops at both ends together with a Laser ID marking near the tip. The line is Pale Grayish Green along its full length. Available versions differ in AFTM class and overall length.
