Lew’s Super Duty 300 Speed Spool is a heavy-duty baitcasting reel designed for anglers who target large predators using oversized lures and heavy line. This large capacity spool makes the Super Duty 300 particularly suitable for fishing large swimbaits, heavy casting lures and big topwater baits, where long casts and strong line control are required.

Smooth and durable operation is ensured by a 7-bearing system with stainless steel double-shielded ball bearings combined with Lew’s high-strength brass Speed Gears®. These precision-cut gears are manufactured on advanced Hamai CNC machines, delivering smooth cranking power and long-term durability even under heavy loads. The ZRXtra system with Zero Reverse® one-way clutch eliminates handle back play for immediate hook-setting power.

Casting performance is controlled by the Multi-Setting Brake (MSB) system, which combines externally adjustable magnetic braking with an internally adjustable centrifugal brake. This hybrid braking system allows anglers to fine-tune spool control to match lure weight, casting style and wind conditions, providing excellent casting stability when using heavy baits.

The reel is equipped with a 100 mm bowed anodized aluminum handle fitted with Winn® Dri-Tac knobs that provide superior grip and cranking leverage. Additional features such as the titanium-coated zirconia line guide, carbon fiber drag system, retractable Speed Keeper® hook keeper, external lube port and Speed Lube® system enhance durability, smooth performance and ease of maintenance.
