SALMO Sweeper is a modern glider-type jerkbait designed for targeting large predatory fish. Its carefully shaped body and precise balance allow the lure to perform very wide, smooth side-to-side slides that imitate the movement of a fleeing baitfish.
During retrieval the Sweeper reacts instantly to short rod twitches. The lure glides far to the sides and can even turn up to 180°, creating strong flashes from its flanks that attract the attention of nearby predators.
The balanced construction makes the lure surprisingly easy to work. Even with moderate jerking movements the Sweeper maintains a wide and irregular action that often triggers strikes from inactive fish.
The series includes several sizes that allow anglers to match the lure to different fishing conditions and target fish sizes. Smaller models are effective in shallower areas and when predators are feeding actively, while the larger versions are ideal for targeting trophy pike.
