ZAION V body, AIRDRIVE Design and ATD Type-L drag

Daiwa 23 Legalis LT is a lightweight spinning reel built around the AIRDRIVE Design concept. The body and AIRDRIVE ROTOR are made from ZAION V, providing low weight, high rigidity and excellent balance. The rotor’s low start-up resistance increases sensitivity and makes it easier to control lure action. The durable TOUGH DIGIGEAR gearing provides strong winding power and smooth operation. The ATD Type-L drag releases line evenly under load and reduces initial resistance, helping maintain control when fighting larger fish. The forged aluminium ABS Longcast spool with its specially shaped lip supports long casts, while Cross Wrap line lay ensures even line distribution. The Twist Buster III line roller is optimised for braided lines, while the lightweight AIRDRIVE bail helps reduce the risk of line tangles during casting. The reel also features a machined aluminium screw-in handle.
