SALMO Freediver SDR is a specialised Super Deep Runner crankbait designed for targeting predatory fish at greater depths. This model was developed for trolling on lakes, reservoirs and deep river channels where fish feed in midwater or close to the bottom.
The enlarged diving lip allows the lure to reach deeper water quickly while maintaining a stable and strong action, even at higher trolling speeds. Freediver SDR tracks reliably, making it effective for covering underwater slopes, drop-offs and deep structures.
The reinforced construction is built to handle powerful strikes and demanding conditions. A built-in dual chamber rattle increases the lure’s acoustic presence, helping attract fish in deeper or slightly stained water.
The series is available in three sizes: 7 cm (8 g), 9 cm (13 g) and 12 cm (24 g). The smaller models are suitable for precise presentation and slower trolling, while the 12 cm version is ideal for targeting larger predators during deep water trolling.
