Salmo Slick Stick is a slim floating lure designed for targeting smaller predators in shallow and medium-depth water. Its narrow profile and lively, flashing action closely imitate small baitfish – a natural food source for perch and trout.
The lure performs exceptionally well when fished using twitching techniques. Short, sharp rod movements make the Slick Stick dart and flash to the sides, creating an erratic action that effectively triggers aggressive strikes from predatory fish. It also maintains a stable action during steady retrieves.
The slender body and well-balanced construction allow anglers to achieve very good casting distances despite the lure’s light weight. This makes Slick Stick a great choice for reaching distant spots and accurately presenting the lure in hard-to-reach areas.
