SALMO Rattlin' Sting is a twitchbait designed for active predator fishing with sharp, controlled rod movements. The lure reacts to short, rhythmic twitches with dynamic side-to-side darts, closely imitating the behaviour of a wounded baitfish.
The integrated long-cast system improves casting distance and accuracy, while the internal rattle chamber adds an additional acoustic trigger to stimulate strikes. In the suspending version, the lure remains neutrally buoyant during pauses, extending the strike window and increasing effectiveness.
The series is available in 9 cm length in both Suspending and Deep Runner versions, allowing anglers to adjust running depth to fishing conditions. The standard working depth is approximately 1.0 m, reaching around 2.0 m when trolling.
Rattlin' Sting performs well for pike, perch, asp and bass in lakes and rivers. It is particularly effective around structure, drop-offs and underwater obstacles where predators ambush their prey.
