Megabass X-80 Magnum SR is a floating saltwater lure designed for working shallow water. It measures 115mm (4.53in), weighs 15g and normally runs at around 0.5m, with a maximum diving depth of approximately 0.8m.
A key feature of the X-80 Magnum SR is its fast, pronounced rolling action. The specially shaped Wide Bend Bill keeps the lure running close to the surface while producing lively movement even on a simple steady retrieve.
A triple moving tungsten weight system supports long-distance casting, which is particularly useful when covering broad shallow areas and coastal zones. Once the retrieve begins, the weights return to their working position and the lure quickly settles into a stable swimming action.
The X-80 Magnum SR works well on a steady retrieve but also responds to changes of pace and short rod movements. Its floating design makes it easier to work over weed, rocks and other obstacles found in shallow water.
