Okuma Safyre is a range of spinning reels designed to deliver smooth performance, reliable power and durability when fishing with artificial lures. The oversized HDG+ High Density Gear system, combined with a precision-cut brass pinion, provides a strong and stable drivetrain. The Flite Drive system and GSS (Gear Stabilization System) help maintain smooth gear operation, while 7 stainless steel ball bearings and one roller bearing support consistent performance. The multi-disc Carbonite drag system delivers smooth and controlled line release when fighting fish. Hydro Block II technology helps protect the reel body and drag mechanism against water intrusion, making the Safyre suitable for fishing in wet conditions. The Cyclonic Flow Rotor (CFR) design improves air circulation around the rotor, while the DLC-coated line roller reduces friction and improves durability.
