Spoons Cardiff Wobble Swimmer
Shimano Cardiff Wobble Swimmer are small spoons designed primarily for trout fishing. They are particularly well suited to Area Trout fishing, but can also be used for light spinning on natural waters when targeting trout, chub, ide or perch.
Irregular wobbling action
The characteristic body, with a shape similar to a trapezoid, gives the Wobble Swimmer a more irregular action than a conventional spoon. During the retrieve, the lure swings from side to side and varies its movement, making it a useful option when a less predictable presentation is needed.
The range includes lightweight versions designed for finesse spinning. They can be retrieved slowly while maintaining good control over the lure, which is especially useful when targeting rainbow trout on commercial trout fisheries.
Cardiff Wobble Swimmer spoons are made in Japan and fitted with a single barbless hook. This is a typical setup for Area Trout lures, allowing fish to be unhooked quickly and matching the rules used on many trout fisheries.
