Sølvkroken Storm is a heavy sea jigging pilker designed for fishing in deeper water, stronger currents and demanding offshore conditions. The series was created for targeting cod, coalfish, pollock and other saltwater predators feeding close to the bottom or in midwater.
Storm reaches the target depth quickly and keeps a stable action even during faster drift. When jigged aggressively, the lure darts and flutters naturally on the drop, imitating an injured baitfish trying to escape or sinking helplessly toward the bottom.

Storm was developed for traditional vertical jigging from a boat. The slim profile cuts through the water efficiently, helping the lure stay in contact with the strike zone even in deeper areas and stronger current.
The pilker responds well to both aggressive lifts and shorter technical rod movements. During the fall it stays balanced and does not spin excessively, maintaining a clean and readable action underwater.

Storm is equipped with durable BKK SW saltwater hooks built for hard fights with powerful fish. The body is made from lead-free zinc alloy, offering the right balance of weight, durability and corrosion resistance for intensive saltwater use.
UV and holographic finishes improve visibility in deeper or darker water, helping attract fish even when visibility conditions are poor.
Solvkroken
The company Solvkroken was established in Skien in 1930. Spesial no. 40 immediately became a great success, and is still one of our best-selling saltwater jig lures. The business expanded and needed larger premises, and in 1954,
Sølvkroken moved to the centre of Arendal. Sea fishing became increasingly popular, and in 1976, the company built new and larger premises at Stoa industrial park right outside Arendal, where we now are located.
Solvkroken is currently a modern enterprise with approximately 60 employees. It is a leading total supplier of angling equipment. We are still manufacturing our lures and jigs at Stoa. Several of our employees are keen
anglers who continually develop new and improved products. The production of lures is, to a large extent, still a handicraft where decor, eye, hook and split ring are assembled manually.
