Hard Lures Cardiff Pinspot
Shimano Cardiff Pinspot is a compact sinking minnow-style lure designed primarily for trout fishing. Its slim, flattened body produces attractive flashes during the retrieve, while the compact profile makes it suitable for both rivers and other trout waters.
Dynamic twitching action and effective steady retrieves
When twitched, the Cardiff Pinspot makes wide and irregular side-to-side darts accompanied by pronounced flashes from its flat sides. On a steady retrieve, the action becomes tighter and more regular, making it easy to adapt the presentation to the activity of the fish.
The AR-C system improves the casting performance of this small lure and helps achieve greater distance. This is particularly useful when targeting the opposite bank, deeper channels or other spots where accurate presentation of a compact lure is important.
Cardiff Pinspot 50S measures 5 cm and weighs 3.5 g. It is a sinking lure with a running depth of up to approximately 1.2 m, allowing it to be worked both in shallower water and slightly deeper in the current.
