Qubi Lures BigFatSnail is a soft, floating lure with an unusual profile inspired by a snail. Measuring 2.4 in and weighing 1 g, it was developed primarily for perch, trout, chub and ide fishing.
An unusual lure for slow presentations
The very soft material responds to subtle movements of the rig and produces a natural action during the fall, short lifts and slow retrieves close to the bottom. Its floating compound raises the unweighted sections of the lure, keeping BigFatSnail clearly visible during pauses.
The lure can be rigged on a standard jig head, fished on a drop shot or paired with a stand-up jig head. It is particularly well suited to short hops along the bottom, slow dragging and precise presentations in areas where fish are feeding on small natural food.
BigFatSnail was designed mainly for trout and perch, but its compact size and unusual profile can also attract chub, ide and coarse fish such as rudd, bream, crucian carp and carp. The scented material may encourage fish to hold onto the lure for longer.
