Soft baits for lure fishing
Artificial baits were almost revolutionized by the introduction of rubber baits to the market. Rubber has become a permanent fixture in spinning anglers' boxes all over the world. Nowadays, few people can imagine fishing for pike, zander or perch without soft baits. They are the basic weapon of spinning anglers during fishing competitions, and the multitude of models, sizes and colors allows you to choose the right rubber for every predator.
What's more, recently, rubber baits have become increasingly popular when fishing for so-called spinning whitefish such as rudd or roach, and often at the end of the set there will be carp, tench or bream. Modern soft baits are very versatile, thanks to the many ways they can be armed. Apart from traditional jig heads, it is worth considering the cheburashka, whacky rig or the Texas and Carolina rig variants.
