DAM Nova Carp is a series of carp fishing rods designed for bottom fishing rigs, suitable for both small fishing venues and larger bodies of water. These rods have been developed for anglers looking for practical equipment for carp fishing. The Powerfiber blanks feature a robust construction and progressive action, allowing the rod to bend gradually under load. This design helps maintain control over fish during the fight and absorb sudden, powerful runs.
DAM Nova Carp rods are equipped with stainless steel guides, a sturdy DPS reel seat and a butt section finished with EVA foam. The blank construction provides the necessary responsiveness for casting rigs and the strength required when playing carp. The test curve of 3–3.25 lb allows anglers to select a rod according to the fishing venue, the weights used and the preferred fishing distance. Shorter models are ideal for fishing in confined spaces and at closer ranges, while longer versions make it easier to achieve greater casting distances and maintain line control over longer distances.
The DAM Nova Carp series includes five variants in lengths of 3.00 m, 3.30 m and 3.60 m. The 3.00 m model with a 3 lb test curve weighs 322 g and has a transport length of 155 cm, while the 3.30 m version with the same test curve weighs 363 g and measures 171 cm when packed away. Among the 3.60 m rods, there is a two-piece 3 lb model weighing 429 g with a transport length of 186 cm, as well as a three-piece 3 lb version weighing 393 g and measuring 126 cm when packed away. The range is completed by a two-piece 3.60 m model with a 3.25 lb test curve, weighing 383 g and featuring a transport length of 186 cm. The three-piece model is a practical choice for anglers who need a shorter packed length for transportation, while the remaining variants offer a classic two-piece construction. This series is suitable for both beginners and more experienced carp anglers.
