Mikado Dreamline Spinning Transparent Monofilament Lines are a range of fishing lines designed specifically for spinning and predator fishing. They combine high strength with low stretch and abrasion resistance, meeting the needs of anglers using various artificial lures. The transparent colour helps reduce line visibility underwater, which is particularly useful when fishing in clear lakes and rivers. Choosing the appropriate diameter allows anglers to match their setup to the fishing conditions, target fish size and preferred lure presentation.
The low stretch of Dreamline Spinning monofilament lines improves sensitivity, helping anglers detect lure movement, contact with underwater obstacles and subtle bites. High strength provides greater control when playing fish, while abrasion resistance is especially valuable when fishing around rocks, submerged branches and aquatic vegetation. The transparent colour supports a more discreet lure presentation by making the line less noticeable underwater. These monofilament lines are suitable for spinning with hard lures, inline spinners, spoons and soft plastic lures in both still and flowing waters.
The Dreamline Spinning range includes transparent monofilament lines in diameters from 0.12 to 0.30 mm, supplied on 150 metre spools. Different breaking strains allow anglers to select the appropriate line for light, medium or heavier spinning setups. Thinner diameters are suitable for finesse fishing with smaller lures, while thicker options provide additional strength when targeting larger and more powerful predators. This range is a practical choice for spinning anglers looking for transparent monofilament lines that combine abrasion resistance, low stretch and reliable performance across a variety of fishing conditions.
Mikado
Mikado is a brand founded in 1989 out of a passion for fishing. From the very beginning—starting first with import, then moving on to production and distribution of equipment—we have played a key role in shaping the Polish fishing market. The foundation of Mikado’s continuous growth is a close relationship with our customers, which, combined with the experience of our employees, ensures that gear bearing the Mikado logo meets the expectations and demands of modern fishing enthusiasts.
Our offering is created by a strong team of Product Managers who, in collaboration with engineers from top component manufacturers like Fuji, Sea Guide, and Toray, design increasingly innovative fishing equipment using the latest technologies. Our office in China oversees the entire production and logistics process. We also rely heavily on our brand testers worldwide, who form the Mikado Fishing Team. It is the hundreds of hours spent on the water that provide us with a real understanding of which design improvements will guarantee users the comfort and confidence necessary when using our equipment.
Completing this process is a dedicated sales department made up of both mobile and office staff. All the people who contribute to the Mikado family share one crucial common denominator—a boundless passion for fishing. Thanks to this passion, our regular product range includes over 14,000 items covering most fishing methods, enabling millions of satisfied customers worldwide to enjoy their fishing experience.
Our modern B2B ordering system and professional warehouse organization allow us to ship orders within 24 hours. We send over 4,500,000 products annually to our partners.
Mikado is a strong, international brand with an established position. For years, we have been executing an expansion plan into new markets across Europe. Our first foreign breakthrough was entering Russia, where Mikado products quickly gained popularity and became a staple on fishing store shelves. The next step was a move westward in Europe, followed by expansion in all directions across the continent. Today, Mikado products can be found virtually from the Middle East to Scandinavia.
Since 2019, we have operated direct distribution in nine European countries, which together with Poland form our core domestic market. These countries are: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, Finland, and Sweden. Sales are based on the company’s own structures and coordinated directly from headquarters in Poland. Our export strength is built on an excellent ratio of high product quality to price, well-organized and fast logistics, and product availability—something difficult to maintain for most manufacturers during the pandemic.
Mikado quickly became the most popular spinning brand in countries like Finland and Estonia. Fishing techniques and methods vary widely around the world, so based on the feedback from our testers, every season we create products dedicated to specific countries, perfectly tailored to anglers’ needs.
We can say with full confidence that in the coming years, our brand will not stand still—in fact, quite the opposite. We are ready to conquer the whole of Europe, delivering fishing gear made by anglers for anglers to an ever-growing number of customers. Our brand does not follow new trends—Mikado sets them!
