Daiwa 26 Tournament Basia 45 SCW QD is an advanced Big Pit carp reel designed for long-range fishing. The redesigned 45 mm spool has an increased diameter and a slight 2° taper, which together with the LC Long Cast lip and Slow Cross Wrap line lay supports smooth line release and long casting distances. The lightweight and rigid ZAION body works together with the ZAION AIRDRIVE ROTOR and precise MC TOUGH DIGIGEAR gearing to provide smooth operation and efficient power transmission. MagSealed technology protects the mechanism from water and contaminants, while the QD drag allows rapid adjustment of drag pressure during a take and while playing a fish. The reel features 11 bearings, AIRDRIVE BAIL, Twist Buster III line roller, HIP line clip and an aluminium handle with a wooden knob. With a 4.9:1 gear ratio, it retrieves 115 cm of line per handle turn and provides a maximum drag force of 15 kg. The main spool holds 300 m of 0.35 mm line, while the included LD spare spool holds 530 m of 0.35 mm line.
