45 mm Ultra Big Pit spool, SCW line lay and MagSealed for surfcasting

Daiwa 26 Tournament Basia Surf 45 SCW QD is an advanced Big Pit reel designed for long-range surfcasting. The redesigned 45 mm Ultra Big Pit spool is approximately 10% wider than on the previous model, while Slow Cross Wrap line lay ensures even line distribution and reduces resistance during the cast. The lightweight and deformation-resistant ZAION AIRDRIVE ROTOR works together with the ZAION body and machined TOUGH DIGIGEAR gearing to provide smooth operation and efficient power transmission. MagSealed technology protects the mechanism from saltwater and contaminants, improving reliability during intensive saltwater fishing. The reel features a QD drag with a maximum force of 15 kg, 11 bearings, AIRDRIVE BAIL, Twist Buster III line roller and HIP line clip. With a 4.1:1 gear ratio, it retrieves 98 cm of line per handle turn. The main spool holds 300 m of 0.18 mm line, the reel weighs 515 g and a spare spool is also included.
