Daiwa 21 Emblem 45 SCW QD SD is a Big Pit reel designed for long-range fishing and large venues. The Super Deep spool holds up to 700 m of 0.35 mm line, providing a large line reserve for bait boat use and fishing at extended distances. The QDM drag system allows precise adjustment of braking force, helping to control large fish during long-range fights. The robust stainless steel main shaft provides the strength needed for demanding fishing situations. The reel features DIGIGEAR II gearing, AIR ROTOR, Slow Cross Wrap line lay and a 45 mm spool stroke. An aluminium long-cast spool, HIP line clip, Twist Buster II line roller and folding One Touch handle with wooden knob add to its practical performance. The 45-5000SD model has 4 bearings, a 4.9:1 gear ratio and retrieves 104 cm of line per handle turn. Maximum drag power is 15 kg and the reel weighs 645 g. An aluminium spare spool with a capacity of 530 m of 0.35 mm line is also included.
