Lures Ukleja (Bleak) XL SSR
Wob-Art Ukleja (Bleak) XL SSR is a handcrafted fishing lure from the Polish brand Wob-Art, featuring a slim, realistic body that closely imitates a bleak. Designed for spinning in both rivers and stillwaters, this shallow-running lure offers a distinctive combination of strong vibration, lively swimming action and flashing sides. Its natural baitfish profile makes it an interesting choice when targeting predatory fish feeding on small fish, particularly in areas where bleak form an important part of their diet. The Ukleja XL SSR is suitable for anglers looking for a realistic hard lure that can be presented effectively in a variety of freshwater fishing conditions.
One of the main advantages of the Wob-Art Ukleja XL SSR is its performance in flowing water, including fast currents. The lure maintains its characteristic swimming action even in strong flows, making it suitable for mountain rivers, streams and other waters with noticeable current. During retrieval, the body vibrates and shakes while its sides produce visible flashes that can attract the attention of predatory fish. Particularly interesting presentations include retrieving the lure across the current or holding it in flowing water, allowing the current itself to activate its swimming action. According to the manufacturer, this technique can appeal to larger predators during both daytime and night-time fishing.
Wob-Art Ukleja XL SSR is also suitable for lakes, ponds and other stillwaters. The manufacturer particularly recommends a slow retrieve along the edges of aquatic vegetation when targeting perch. Its realistic bleak profile and lively vibration help imitate a small baitfish swimming close to areas where predators may be waiting to feed. The lure is also an interesting option when predatory fish are actively feeding on bleak. The manufacturer highlights its use in areas where bleak gather to spawn, as concentrations of small fish can attract larger predators. This makes the Ukleja XL SSR a versatile choice for different freshwater environments and fishing situations.
The available BXSR model measures 8.5 cm (3.35 in), weighs 14 g and has a sinking design with a shallow-running action. Wob-Art lures are individually handcrafted and hand-painted, with careful attention to finishing details and swimming performance. The combination of a realistic bleak shape, pronounced vibration and reliable action in flowing water makes the Wob-Art Ukleja XL SSR an interesting option for freshwater spinning. It is particularly suitable for anglers who want a hard lure that can be retrieved steadily, worked across the current or held in flowing water to take advantage of its distinctive movement and flashing sides.
