Daiwa 26 Silver Creek X LT – Spinning Reels

Daiwa 26 Silver Creek X LT is a range of lightweight spinning reels developed for trout fishing and finesse lure techniques. Designed to provide excellent sensitivity and precise lure control, these reels are particularly well suited to fishing with small hard lures, spinners and soft plastics, where smooth operation and accurate presentation make a real difference.

The AIRDRIVE Design improves reel balance and reduces rotational inertia, allowing the rotor to respond quickly to movements of the handle. The lightweight ZAION V AIRDRIVE Rotor provides a responsive feel, making it easier to control the speed and action of small lures. The rigid ZAION V body securely supports the TOUGH DIGIGEAR transmission, ensuring smooth and consistent performance.

The ATD Type-L drag system delivers smooth, progressive line release with minimal initial resistance, an important advantage when playing trout on fine monofilament or braided lines. The AIRDRIVE Bail and Twist Buster III line roller improve line management and help reduce tangles, particularly when retrieving lightweight lures in crosswinds or with slack line.

Additional features include 5 ball bearings, an ABS aluminium longcast spool, a Perfect LS line clip, an aluminium handle and an I-shape cork handle knob. Both models feature a 6.2:1 gear ratio for quick line retrieval. The range includes the compact 2000S-XH weighing 175 g and the 2500S-XH weighing 185 g, offering suitable options for different trout fishing setups.

Daiwa 26 Silver Creek X LT spinning reels are an excellent choice for anglers targeting trout in rivers, streams and stillwaters, including area trout fishing. Their low weight, responsive rotor and smooth drag make them particularly suitable for light spinning rods and delicate lure presentations.
