The reinforced construction of Gloog Rattling Helios is designed to withstand the demanding conditions of catfish fishing. The lure features a robust 3 mm thick diving lip, an exceptionally strong internal metal frame and forged VMC Fishfighter X4 treble hooks. These components were selected with powerful predators in mind, where the lure and its hook connections may be exposed to considerable strain during a fight. The sturdy diving lip and reinforced internal structure contribute to the lure's durability when used in challenging river environments. Factory-fitted VMC Fishfighter X4 trebles provide heavy-duty hook components suitable for anglers preparing to target large catfish.
Gloog Rattling Helios 70F measures 7 cm (2.76 in) and weighs 30 g. Despite its relatively compact size, the lure offers good casting performance, helping anglers reach feeding areas located away from the bank. The 70F model is floating and runs at approximately 1 m during spinning retrieves. This shallow-running characteristic makes it useful for fishing near riverbanks, over shallow areas and around places where catfish may feed at night. The additional sound produced by the rattle distinguishes this version from the classic Gloog Helios. Gloog Rattling Helios is also suitable for shallow-water catfish trolling. When trolled behind a boat, the lure reaches an approximate running depth of 1–1.5 m. By maintaining a relatively shallow presentation, anglers can cover these areas while reducing unnecessary contact with the bottom. The integrated rattle continues to produce an acoustic signal as the lure moves through the water. Made in Poland. The Gloog Company was registered on December 7th in 2001. Since then hand-made prototypes of wobblers began to change and assume the present shapes and colours. A stage of implementation of ideas and refinement of the production technology started. We devised many technical solutions by ourselves, some others we transformed in accordance with our needs. The first batch of wobblers reached our anglers friends, who tried them out in different water basins. Having collected all the data and having made some corrections, the first branded baits called GLOOG were put up for sale at the end of August 2002. Since that time we have been constantly working on improvements of the quality of our products as well as on new models. Taking our customers’ satisfaction into consideration, we are not in a hurry. Every product before appearing in shops undergoes numerous controls. We make every effort so as our wobblers could meet expectations of the most demanding spinning anglers. Furthermore, being anglers by ourselves and today as producers of fishing lures we are always motivated by one thought – we wish we could accompany you in your marvelous fishing adventure.
