HMG Lures SilentASSASIN is a series of floating minnow lures designed primarily for trout, chub and perch fishing. Their versatile construction also makes them suitable for targeting other predatory fish, including ide and pike. Developed as a complement to the popular JAGER model, SilentASSASIN offers a tighter, more energetic swimming action, more pronounced side flashing and the ability to reach greater depths.
SilentASSASIN features a fast, tight tail action with small-amplitude movements. During the retrieve, the lure produces lively vibrations and subtle flashes from its sides, imitating a small baitfish swimming in the current. Depending on fishing conditions and retrieve technique, it can reach depths of approximately 1.5–2 m. By keeping the rod tip raised, anglers can also work the lure through shallower areas, including water around 50 cm deep.

Another effective technique involves briefly moving the rod tip backwards to let the lure drift slightly with the current before resuming the retrieve. Gentle rod-tip twitches can create sideways darts and flashes, imitating the movements of an injured baitfish. However, SilentASSASIN is not designed for aggressive twitching with continuous sharp jerks. Subtle twitches work best as an addition to a slow, controlled presentation.
The HMG Lures SilentASSASIN series includes two floating models: 3.9 cm (1.54 in) weighing 2.2 g and 4.9 cm (1.93 in) weighing 3.9 g. These sizes allow anglers to match the lure to the size of feeding fish and different fishing conditions. Made in Poland, these handcrafted and hand-painted lures reflect traditional lure-making techniques. Minor variations in colour and finish may occur between individual pieces.

Our company has been dealing with lure production for a very long time. Our first lures were made out of linden and balsa wood over 15 years ago. They were quickly acclaimed by the anglers in our region and gradually became popular all over the country. That's when we decided to make a living out of fishing lure production and our company NINJA FISHING was established. All our lures are created with passion and love for angling. All had been carefully designed and tested long before they were shown to the public. Nothing happens by accident, most of our lures are designed for particular fisheries and conditions. That's why they are incredibly effective and won't let you come out of the water empty-handed. Currently our lures are widely recognizable in Poland. Effective ide, chub, trout and asp fishing is our main piority, however we didn't forget about perch, pike, zander, barbel and catfish hunters. All our lures are handmade, without the use of large machinery.
