Qubi Lures BigFatBug is a floating soft lure inspired by a dragonfly larva. Its thick abdomen and long, mobile legs create a distinctive profile that can attract both predatory fish and coarse species feeding on natural food close to the bottom.
Mobile legs and a substantial body
The long legs move during the fall, short lifts and slow bottom presentations. The thick abdomen adds volume and provides a secure area for hook placement, while the unusual profile offers a clear alternative to conventional paddle tails and worm-style soft lures.
For bottom fishing and lift-and-drop retrieves
BigFatBug can be rigged on a standard jig head, mounted on a stand-up jig head or used on a drop shot rig. It works well with slow lifts, short hops along the bottom and subtle rod-tip movements that keep the lure active in one area.
Floating material for a natural presentation
The floating material lifts the unweighted parts of the lure above the bottom. When paired with a stand-up jig head, the body and legs remain clearly visible to fish, including during pauses in the retrieve.

Two sizes for different target species
The 2 in model is intended mainly for perch, trout, chub and ide, but it may also attract bream, crucian carp and carp. The larger 4.3 in version is suitable for zander, pike and catfish, especially when fished slowly close to the bottom.

Qubi Lures BigFatBug was designed, modelled and produced in Poland. The entire process, from the 3D model and mould construction to the final casting, is completed locally.
