Savage Gear Alpha SG8 Monster Bait is a range of powerful casting rods designed for pike fishing with large and heavy lures. The rods are built for use with baitcasting reels and for working big bait lures.
All models have a FAST action. The blanks are made from Japanese Torayca carbon and use 4X Wrap V2 and Reset Accelerator Technology. The rods are fitted with Fuji SiC guides and a Fuji baitcasting reel seat.
The range includes three two-piece models with casting weights from 56–250 g to 180–650 g. A neoprene rod bag is included.
