Select Reflex is a shad-style crankbait designed as an alternative to classic slim minnow lures. Its deeper body profile creates a different underwater action and a stronger visual trigger, which can be especially effective when predatory fish are feeding on small, stocky baitfish. The 70SP version measures 7 cm, weighs 9 g and works at a depth of around 80-120 cm.
Tight action with noticeable side wobble
During a steady retrieve, Reflex produces a tight action combined with subtle side-to-side rolling. Gentle twitches make the lure look more alive, imitating a fleeing baitfish flashing its sides underwater. This presentation is highly effective for perch, zander and asp, while pike may also attack it in shallow areas.
Stop-and-go retrieves and short twitches
Reflex performs best with stop-and-go retrieves, short jerks and slower presentations. During pauses, the suspending lure stays in the strike zone longer, giving predators extra time to attack. It is a great choice when fish are unwilling to chase fast-moving lures but still react to flashes, changes of pace and sudden stops...
