Daiwa 23 Emblem 45 SCW QD is a Big Pit reel designed for long-distance casting. The 45 mm spool stroke combined with Slow Cross Wrap line lay and the special ABS Longcast spool reduces line friction during the cast and supports greater casting distances. The powerful DIGIGEAR II gearing and deformation-resistant AIR ROTOR made from ZAION V provide efficient power transfer under heavy load. The stainless steel main shaft increases durability when fighting fish and retrieving heavy rigs from long distances. The precisely adjustable QDM drag allows the braking force to be quickly adapted to fishing conditions and the course of the fight. The reel is also equipped with a HIP line clip, Twist Buster II line roller, machined aluminium handle with T-shaped knob and a manually closing bail. The model has 6 bearings, a 4.9:1 gear ratio and retrieves 104 cm of line per handle turn. The main spool holds 300 m of 0.35 mm line, maximum drag power is 15 kg and the reel weighs 620 g. A deep spare spool with a capacity of 530 m of 0.35 mm line is also included.
