Delalande paddle tail lures for slow retrieves and versatile rigging
Delalande Zand Fat Shad is an unrigged soft lure available in 10 and 12 cm sizes. Its chunky body, narrow tail section and large paddle tail produce a pronounced swimming action that starts even during very slow retrieves.
The paddle tail moves with minimal forward speed, while the body gently rolls from side to side. This allows the lure to be retrieved steadily close to the bottom, worked with lifts and drops or presented vertically. Zand Fat Shad also remains stable when retrieved at a faster pace.
The unrigged body can be matched to the depth and structure of the fishing spot. It works well on a conventional jig head, an offset hook in a Texas rig or with little to no additional weight when fishing shallow water.
The 10 and 12 cm versions are particularly suitable for zander and pike, but can also tempt larger perch and other predatory fish. Natural, high-contrast and lightly transparent colour patterns make it easier to match the lure to water clarity and changing light conditions.

Delalande
The Delalande company, created by Mr Alain Delalande in 1979 was first specialized in the sale of mounted line for coarse fishing. Quickly, the first machines for making jig heads will be purchased and the first softbaits, imported from the United States, arrive on the French market thanks to Delalande.
In the following years, the “mounted line” part is sold in order to devote itself entirely to the jig head and softbait part, in particular with the purchase of a first machine to manufacture lures. The development of the Delalande material is then underway, and the first softbaits are emerging.
It was not until 1995 that the famous Sandra was born, an innovative and affordable lure and above all extremely effective. Today it is one of the softbaits known to all generations of lure fishermen, and is present in all boxes.
Over the years, it is as a family that the company has been managed, both by Alain and his wife, as well as by their children, Tony who manages the production and Sandrine all the management and marketing part.
