Lucky John Pro Series J.I.B Tail is a small curly-tail grub designed primarily for perch, trout and black bass. Its slim body and curled tail produce a clear but controlled action, making it suitable for both actively searching for fish and slower, more subtle presentations.
The soft yet resilient material allows the tail to work at very low retrieve speeds. The lure can be retrieved steadily, worked with short lifts or slowly dragged close to the bottom when fish show little interest in faster-moving soft baits.
J.I.B Tail holds securely on the hook and can be rigged on a conventional jig head, an offset hook, a drop shot rig, or Texas and Carolina rigs. This makes it easy to adapt the presentation to the depth, bottom structure and areas with aquatic vegetation.
The smaller 38 mm (1.5 in) model is well suited to light perch and trout fishing with subtle tackle. The 50 mm (2 in) version creates a more visible profile and performs well on a classic jig head, particularly when targeting larger perch.
