Megabass Deep-X 300 is a floating deep-diving crankbait designed for thoroughly covering deeper water. Measuring around 76mm (3in) and weighing approximately 21g, it quickly reaches its working range of around 12–15ft (3.7–4.6m).
The Multi-Way Balancer System supports long casting and helps the lure dive at a steep angle towards its target depth. This allows the Deep-X 300 to spend more of the retrieve working through the depth range where fish are holding.
The Deep-X 300 is not limited to a simple steady retrieve close to the bottom. Changes in retrieve speed and short rod movements can make the lure deviate from its normal track, adding an irregular element to its action around underwater structure.
This lure is well suited to working drop-offs, submerged humps, weed edges and other areas where predators are holding several metres below the surface. Its floating body also gives the angler additional control when the lure comes into contact with underwater obstacles.
