The Prorex Hybrid Swimbait from DAIWA combines high quality components and workmanship with great catchability and a very good price-performance ratio. The relaunch model is made of a slightly softer rubber and can therefore be fished at a slightly slower speed compared to the previous model. The soft bodies of the old and new 2.0 versions are interchangeable. This lure has an outstanding swimming action like a real fish – under constant pull, the lure occasionally breaks slightly sideways, flanking, imitating an injured prey fish. The Prorex Hybrid Swimbait is delivered completely rigged including rear assist treble, enabling usage straight away. The rear treble hook is attached directly to a strong 60lb steel wire with shrink protected crimps,as there is a risk, especially with large, exceptional fish, that the wire will thread itself into the split ring under heavy load and the fish might be lost.

The Prorex Hybrid Swimbait copes both with slow to fast presentations (2.3km/h – 5km/h) and maintains its stability even at high speeds.
Tip: If the bait moves slightly sideways, bend the front eyelet very slightly to the other side – thus will usually make the lure run straight again.
The silent construction (without rattles) is a good advantage for catching fish especially in heavily fished waters.
If the soft body needs to be replaced due to numerous pike bites, suitable replacement tails are available at an affordable price.Thanks to it´s special shape and inner construction, the replacement body can be easily glued onto the head with precise fit and without slipping (recommended: Loctite 406 glue).
