Salmo Hornet 3.5 cm is the new generation of one of Salmo’s most recognisable lures. Its compact body and strong, aggressive action have made the Hornet a proven choice for chub, trout and perch for many years. The 3.5 cm size is available in both floating and sinking versions, making it easy to match the lure to the depth and character of the water.The Hornet starts working immediately after entering the water and produces strong, regular vibrations that are clearly felt through the rod. It remains stable in current, allowing it to be fished upstream, downstream or across the flow. It is especially effective around fast runs, deeper channels, rocky stretches, undercut banks and other areas where predators wait for passing prey.The Floating version weighs 2.6 g and runs at approximately 0.5–1 m. It is well suited to shallower areas, fishing over obstacles and targeting fish holding higher in the water.
