Savage Gear Mutant EWG Underspoon Hook is a large offset hook designed for rigging substantial soft lures. The wide hook gap provides plenty of clearance around the lure body, making the system particularly suitable for large pike soft lures.
A screw-in spring at the front secures the soft lure and helps keep it correctly positioned on the rig. The offset design allows the hook point to sit close to the lure body, which is useful when fishing around weed and other cover.
The integrated weight helps stabilise the rig and keeps large soft lures running below the surface. A rotating blade positioned beneath the hook produces additional flash and vibration during the retrieve, adding another visual and mechanical attraction to the lure.
The range includes two versions: size 10/0 with a 4 g weight and size 14/0 with a 6 g weight. Each pack contains 2 hooks. Savage Gear Mutant EWG Underspoon Hook can be used with a variety of large pike soft lures, including soft bodies from the Mutant Rat range.
